Alex Kingsley (they/them) is a writer, game designer, and comedian. Co-founder of new-media company Strong Branch Productions and creator of sci-fi comedy podcast The Stench of Adventure their short fiction has appeared in Radon Journal, Sci-Fi Lampoon, Strangely Funny, and more. They wrote the sci-fi play “The Bearer of Bad News,” which saw two productions in LA, and Unplanned Obsolescence, which will be produced this year in Philadelphia. Their tabletop games include fantasy RPG De-escalation and How To Read Tarot Wrong.

Their first book is a collection of sci-fi, fantasy, and horror that mixes the mundane and bizarre, that both disturbs and delights. It’s a selection of unsettling stories with an undercurrent of warmth and heart.

Alex will discuss their life and works, plus reading extracts. There will be drinks and snacks and a signing.
